One small step for the white South African farmer (and one giant leap for Piet Mulder?)

The leader of the white conservative Freedom Front Plus is now a Deputy Minister in the new cabinet. Alongside Koetbroek Whatshisname who does the Tourism stuff, Piet Mulder takes over the portfolio of "deputy minister of agriculture, forestry and fisheries". Maybe he gets a free set of Made in China dreads for the new job.

On a more solemn and serious note, we hope that Dr. Mulder deals with the subject of black-on-white farm murders square on by moving towards reinstating the Kommando farm patrol. And something positive should emerge from his ties with Agrisa and Solidarity to this end.
